The easiest way to get started is to book your Clarity Session. It’s completely free and it’s for us to start the process of discovering what your dream job (or business) really looks like.

What we can achieve...

  • Clarity: You’ll get super clear on what your dream job or business actually looks like (no more vague goals or random job boards).

  • Strategy: We’ll build a practical roadmap to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.

  • Tools: Say goodbye to vague CVs and hello to tailored, powerful applications that show employers exactly why you’re the perfect fit.
  • Confidence: I’ll help you ditch self-doubt and rediscover just how brilliant you are. I’ll help you walk into interviews with confidence and walk out with offers.
  • Support: You won’t be doing it alone. I’m with you every step of the way.

Why I get it...

Once upon a time, I had a “successful” career in retail management. I was the first female manager at DFS, stayed for 17+ years, and yet… something was missing. It took a literal tree falling on my head in 2013 to wake me up (true story – you can read about it here).

That moment made me realise: life’s too short to be stuck doing work that doesn’t excite you. I didn’t want to be remembered as “the woman who sold sofas.” So, I retrained, launched my coaching business, and now I help others create their own version of career happiness.

These days, I run my coaching business, online, from my home office in Devon, near where I was born and grew up. I enjoy a great work/life balance that allows me to be around much more for those I love the most.

What work should feel like...

Work should feel good. It should energise you, challenge you, reward you and give you space for the rest of your life too.

But if that’s not your reality right now, it’s OK. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed – it just means it’s time to realign.

If you’re feeling:

  • Exhausted from trying to make your current role work

  • Sick of being pipped to the post at interviews

  • Ready to start something new, but unsure where to begin…

Let’s talk. You can find (or create!) a job or business that fits you like a glove. Work that makes you feel excited to get out of bed in the morning. And I’d love to help you get there.

You have to network, to get work...

It may sound cheesy but it’s true, you have to network to get work whether you are in business, working freelance or looking for a new job. Here are a couple of groups that I organise in Devon, Laptop Friday and Devon Women In Business

I recommend that you look out for events near you to attend in order to start developing your own professional network. If the prospect of networking feels less than exciting, remember, coaching can help you to increase your confidence when meeting new people.

Championing freelancers and working from home

On Friday mornings you’ll usually find me hosting the coworking group, Laptop Friday, upstairs at Café 3 Sixty in Bovey Tracey. I love meeting freelancers working in all kinds of businesses and other people who normally work from home. It’s an interesting and refreshing way to end the working week.

Laptop Friday - Bovey Tracy, Devon

Laptop Friday is one of my favourite coworking events in Devon. I host it every Friday morning from 9.30 to 12.00. You’re welcome to join us if you’re working from home, whether you’re an employee, a freelancer or a business owner.

Devon Women In Business

My other passion is championing women in the workplace and I lead the local networking group, Devon Women In Business. We meet for monthly networking events and celebrate with the annual DWIB Awards which are generously sponsored by many local businesses.
